The Provincial Nominee Program is an immigration program by the Canadian province for immigrants to move into the country. Candidates can either apply directly to the province for selection or be nominated by the province depending on their familiarity with the province.
Provinces tend to give better consideration to candidates who are familiar with the province. Familiarity includes having work experience or job offers in the province schooled or graduated in the province, or having a family connection in the province. It’s however required that the candidates meet the language requirement of the province.

Requirement for BCPNP
- Valid and genuine traveling passports
- Valid education credentials
- Job offer in the province
- Language Certification
- Letter of confirmation from the employer
- Certificate of birth
- Be qualified to effectively perform job duties
- Proof of financial capability to sponsor oneself and accompanying family member
- Eligible for legal immigration to Canada
Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program is a pathway set by the provincial government for experienced and highly skilled immigrants to obtain a permanent residency permits in the country
Requirement for AINP
- Have a job offer in the province
- Graduate of a Designated Learning Institution in the country
- Have a relative in the province
- Language Certification (French Language)
- CRS requirements of 300 points
- Have the required work experience of the job offer
- Valid identification from the nation of origin
